Travelling around Singapore is a cinch! An efficient public transportation network of taxis, buses and the modern Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) rail system ensures that getting from point A to point B is hassle-free and extremely affordable.

The best way to see Singapore is to get The Singapore Tourist Pass. The STP costs just S$8 per day and comes with the option of a 1 -Day, 2 - Day or 3- Day Pass. The Pass, if issued in Singapore, comes with a rental deposit of S$10 which is fully refundable if the card is returned within 5 days of issuance. The STP comes bundled with exclusive merchant offers just for tourists to sample the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of Singapore. The STP can be purchased at TransitLink Offices at the following MRT Stations: Changi Airport, Orchard, Chinatown, CIty Hall, Raffles Place, Ang Mo Kio, Harbour Front and Bugis.

For maximum freedom, buy an ez-link card and hop onto a bus! The ez-link card can also be used on the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). SBS Transit bus 36 runs between Orchard Road and Singapore Changi Airport. The public bus stations are located in Terminal 1 at Basement 2, and in Terminal 2 at Basement Level. Details of bus routes and fares are displayed at bus stations. Visit PublicTransport@SG website for details on public bus services in Singapore.

Over 15,000 air-conditioned cabs ply local roads and provide comfortable, hassle-free travel at a very reasonable cost. They can be flagged down 24 hours a day on most roads, with well-marked taxi-stands available outside most major shopping centres and hotels. At Singapore Changi Airport, the taxi stand is located just outside the Arrival Hall on Level 1 in Terminal 1 and at the end of the Arrival Hall on Level 1 in Terminal 2 (South Wing).

Travelers looking for a speedy and affordable transport option that brings you to the door step of your hotel are recommended to take the Airport Shuttle Service which charges based on headcount. This service is available 24hrs daily, and passengers are required to make booking at the counters in the Arrival Halls of Terminals 1, 2 & 3, and Budget Terminal.
